But, in an interview with BoxOffice.com, Taylor Lautner has a message for his fellow fellas: this isn’t the case.

Asked whether guys would enjoy the second installment of the Twilight Saga franchise, Lautner said yes because::

“There’s a lot more action than Twilight. It’s more exciting – it has werewolves and vampires, which creates fights because they don’t get along. Not only does the action step up, but the whole story line does as well. Now there’s a third person involved.”
As for his character in New Moon – seen above, shirtless and trying to woo Bella – Lautner dished on the two sides to Jacob Black:

“I play pre-transformation Jacob, and post. He doesn’t transform into a werewolf until halfway through the film. For pre-transformation, the books describe Jacob as clumsy. He trips over his own feet – he’s a kid. And as soon as he transforms, he all of a sudden because extremely agile. There’s several scenes that show his new agility, so that was the biggest thing I had to bring out.”

He’s one of the fastest-rising stars in Hollywood, but Robert Pattinson recently told press that being the it-guy isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.

The “Twilight” stud explained, “At one point I did go nuts and a little bit paranoid but then you learn to deal with things. I’m coming to terms with it.”

Pattinson also noted that, though he’s able to afford trips all over the world, he can’t really enjoy any honest-to-goodness sightseeing.  “I love to travel and experience new places but I can’t really walk down the street these days.  I’m driven around a bit but that’s it.”

And when asked about his romantic tendencies, Rob revealed, “I do consider myself a very romantic person.  I see love as an evolution of true friendship.”

The actress has been replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in the franchise, as the movie studio cited a scheduling conflict for the suspicious move.

Fans were outraged over the decision, as was the actress. But she told Extra this week that she’s feeling a lot better; and she has numerous supporters to thank for it.

“I’m on Twitter and I remember opening up my Twitter,” she said. “Somehow, in 140 characters, my fans managed to write me things that were so unbelievable… A bunch of fans from all over the world made me a tribute video. This girl from Australia collected stuff from all over the world. I mean they’ve just been incredible. I wrote on Twitter: ‘If I could travel the world and hug you all personally, I would’ – because they really carried me through.”
As for New Moon, Lefevre can’t wait to see the finished product.

While Victoria scarcely figures in the book, writer Melissa Rosenberg beefed up the character’s prominence for the second Twilight sequel.

“They wrote a lot of fun stuff for me from Twilight to New Moon,” the actress said. “In the book, Victoria is not that present and they really did their best. Melissa told me that she loved writing Victoria and there was great room for that. So she wrote a lot of stuff for me. I really hope it makes it into the film.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are NOT engaged. Ignore any celebrity gossip stories to the contrary.

However, the Twilight Saga co-stars are “very much together,” insiders told E! News, a reliable outlet for information.

“Everyone who wasn’t directly involved in the whole situation obviously speculated about what was going on between them, but lately it’s become clear to anyone who works with them: Rob and Kristen are very much together,” sources on set told the entertainment network.

As for rumors that Pattinson was dating Nikki Reed, the same insider said that actress “is out of the picture [and] has been for a long time.”

Reports that Taylor Lautner has created tension between Robert and Kristen also appear to have been premature.

Indeed, the couple is together and happy – but this frightens the Eclipse cast, studio and crew members. What if the relationship sours? How will the affect filming and marketing for the franchise?

Even the most fairy tale-like romances come to an end. Just look at Jennifer and Brad; Jessica and Nick; Levi and Bristol.

On a day when Robsten fans should be celebrating one of the most definitive displays of public affection yet between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the rumor mill is buzzing with problems in Twilight Saga land.

The source of these problems? Taylor Lautner and his rumored feelings for Stewart.

According to a Star magazine insider, Lautner “definitely has a crush on Kristen,” emotions that make Pattinson “really nervous that Kristen will fall for Taylor’s charms.”

It was just last week, of course, when Kristen said she would “do anything” for Taylor, including “kill” for him.

So, what is Pattinson doing to protect his relationship? Shopping!

Sources told The National Enquirer that Robert “looks for rare, vintage things, which he knows Kristen likes” in order to remain on her good side.

You’d think all he’d have to do is stare into her soul with those piercing eyes.

By learning how to fight themselves!

“We start rehearsals tomorrow, the actor that plays Carlisle Cullen told OK! on Tuesday. “We have two weeks of rehearsal and then a week of fight training.”

Why the training? Are the rumors of a Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart relationship causing tension among the cast? Hardly.

Facinelli cites the movie’s plot as the basis for impending fisticuffs.

“What happens in Eclipse is Victoria comes back and she builds an army of newborn vampires, which are freshly bitten vampires which are basically blood crazed and she’s trying to get this army to come after us so that she can get to Bella and so we team up with the werewolves to attack all these newly bitten vampires.”

As for what fans can expect in the third installment of this franchise, the actor said:

“Eclipse has more action in it and so I’m excited to get in there and have Carlisle roll his sleeves up a little bit and get into fight stuff.”

It’s been a good summer already for Facinelli. He plays Dr. Fitch Cooper on the Showtime hit Nurse Jackie.

Nothing.

But a group of hot, completely naked vampires at least comes close.

In an interview with MTV News this week, Jamie Campbell-Bower – who plays Volturi member Caius in New Moon – says a new scene has been added to the movie, one that was never in the book.

“We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene,” said the British actor. “Yeah, it’s me, Michael Sheen and Christopher [Heyerdahl]; we just sit there, naked.”The scene in question centers around the back story of the Volturi, as Aro, Caius and Marcus are in a bathhouse, hanging out in a “Roman bath kind of thing,” said Campbell-Bower.

It doesn’t sound like Pattinson’s birthday suit is featured at all in the film. Sorry, ladies. But you can always ask Kristen Stewart what that outfit looks like!

While fans are buzzing over the possibility that Adam Lambert wants to record a song for it, director Chris Weitz didn’t mention the American Idol’s name in a recent interview.

Instead, he pointed to a pair of other artists as leading contenders to be featured on the album.

“We are just starting to put together what bands are on the soundtrack, so it’s kind of like keeping ten plates spinning at once,” Weitz said. “Everything is still kind of up in the air, but I am surprised at some of the bands that have said they’re interested… The criterion will still always be what’s right for the movie at that given moment, but Thom Yorke is interested; we might, if we’re very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something.”

As fans of the series know, Bella (Kristen Stewart) nearly gives into temptation with Jacob (Taylor Lautner). Can you blame the gal? Edward has been absent from her life for awhile at this point.The New Moon passage this scene is likely based on takes us inside Bella’s thought process as she stares into the eyes of the dreamy Jacob Black:

But the man that plays Edward Cullen is always looking over his shoulder, wondering who the next young stud that threatens his place in the Hollywood pecking order will be.

Enter Jamie Campbell-Bower.

This rising star is also British, also dons wild hair and has also landed a critical role in New Moon, one directly opposed to that of Pattinson. Campbell-Bower will play Caius, the leader of the Volturi. It’s safe to say that he and Cullen don’t agree on one major issue:

Edward wants to love Bella, while Caius was to kill Bella. Awkward!

Who will win the battle between Campbell-Bower and Pattinson? The latter is next starring in a random movie called Remember Me, while the former will portray Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
